Hairy Bikers visit Dementia Voices Stockton

In preparation for Red Nose Day TV Chefs, The Hairy Bikers dropped in to say hello to Dementia Voices Stockton Advocacy Project.

As part of the celebrations for Red Nose Day The Hairy Bikers popped in to the LiveWell Dementia Hub in Thornaby to find our more about Clevearc's advocacy project Dementia Voices Stockton.

Lucy McCormack, DVS Advocacy Coordinator said "both Sy and Dave spoke to everyone and signed cookery books and posed for photographs". As part of the visit they chatted with Pauline Cox, Volunteer Advocate about how she got involved with the project and it's benefits.

The interview was broadcast on BBC Look North on 24 March 2017, Red Nose Day.

The project is funded for 2 years by Comic Relief, The Ballinger Charitable Trust and Northern Rock Foundation.
