Jeremy Spooner qualified as a solicitor in 1977 and worked in private practice as a commercial lawyer before selling his business in 2008. He now works as the in house solicitor for the Prestige Group which operates a number of Residential Care Centres. He was President of the Local law Society in 2007 and has been involved in several business forums over the years. When not actively engaged in a number of business and other organisations, he is a keen trout and salmon fisherman, reader, gardener and cook. His experience of dementia was gained from looking after his Mother who suffered from it for 10 years from the age of 89, and from his involvement with the Prestige Group.
